According to customs statistics, in 2016 1~3, China's total import and export of mold was $1 billion 590 million 858 thousand and 600, down 7.34% over the previous year. Among them, imports amounted to $497 million 238 thousand, down 11.46% year on year, with exports amounting to $1 billion 93 million 620 thousand and 600, down 5.33% from a year earlier. Following the 2015 import growth rate continued to decline compared to the same period, the first quarter of this year and for the first time in the import and export of all negative growth situation, reflects the domestic mold market weakness and the development of foreign trade continued blocked situation. The circumstances are as follows:

1, according to mold types, plastic and rubber mold import and export volume accounted for 44.26% and 65.88%; stamping die for 40.04% and 17.12%, as shown in the table.

2, according to the import goods, imported mold mainly from Japan, South Korea and Germany, China's Hong Kong customs area and the United states. Imports amounted to $392 million 755 thousand and 200, or 78.99% of total imports.

3, according to the export destination, China's export mold market is mainly the United States, China's Hongkong Special Administrative Region, Japan, Germany and India, exports amounted to 464 million 165 thousand and 400 U. s.dollars, accounting for 42.44% of total exports.

4, according to the import destination points, the most import are Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai, Shandong and Tianjin. Imports amounted to $318 million 495 thousand and 900, or 64.05% of total imports.

5, according to export sources, export mold mainly from Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Shandong. Exports amounted to $884 million 892 thousand and 700, or 80.91% of total exports.
